After months of leaks, the launch date of the Xiaomi 13 series has finally been confirmed. The Chinese manufacturer has confirmed that it will launch in China on December 1 at 19:00 (local time). Some other products such as the Watch S2, Buds 4 TWS earphones and MIUI 14 will also be announced alongside the Xiaomi 13 series.

In December last year, Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi 12X, Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro. It looks like there will be no successor to the Xiaomi 12X this year. The upcoming flagship series will include two models, Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro.

Below is a leaked image of the Xiaomi 13. The image clearly shows the phone’s design and color options. Both phones are expected to have the same design as the Xiaomi 13 Pro will be a larger version of the Xiaomi 13.

The company has confirmed that the Xiaomi 13 series will feature ultra-thin bezels. The bottom bezel is only 1.61mm, meaning it can be just as thin as the top bezel. Unfortunately, it was not possible to verify the authenticity of the above interpretations.

Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro will run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform. It is unclear whether the latest version of MIUI 14 of the Xiaomi 13 series will be pre-installed. Otherwise, it will be one of the first phones to get the MIUI 14 update. There is currently no information about the features of Xiaomi Buds 4 and Xiaomi Watch S2.

The company is already selling the Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro for 1,099 yuan (~$152) in China. So there is a possibility that the Buds 4 will be a more affordable product at around RMB 500 (~$70). It will come in black, white and green.
