Trusted insider Ice Universe has released a few more comparison photos comparing the 10x zoom capabilities of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and Vivo X90 Pro+.

Commenting on the footage, Ice Universe said, “Samsung’s era of dominance in 10x zoom shots is over.”

As a reminder, Vivo X90 Pro+ received Sony IMX989 main image sensor with 1-inch optical format and eight-element Zeiss optics. It also received a periscope module with a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B sensor that provides 100x zoom. Additionally, the Vivo X90 Pro+ has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX758 sensor.

Yesterday, the same insider posted a comparison of these smartphones during the night shoot and noted that there is a huge gap between them.

Ice Universe was the first to fully describe the new trend for waterfall screen smartphones, the explosions on the iPhone X, the new design of the iPhone 14, and Samsung’s 200-megapixel image sensor.
