The Chinese manufacturer also introduced its new model, along with its new folding model Honor Magic Vs. Honor 80 and Honor 80 Pro. Two phones with some of the most striking specs, especially the rear camera, which has reached a remarkable number of up to 160 megapixels. It’s not a record since 200 megapixels has been reached, but we are facing two mobile phones that want to fight a lot in the photography department.

Here are the features of the new Honor 80 series, curved OLED displays, Qualcomm processors and the new version MagicOS 7.0 Based on Android 12. They’re currently available in China, but will soon expand to more markets, as we’ve seen with the Honor 70, a high-end mid-range that redefines the future of the brand.

Make room for 160 megapixels

Honor 80 Pro and Honor 80 share a large part of the features; the processor chose the main difference. Honor 80 Pro comes with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 added by most 2022 flagships. On the Honor 80 side, we have the newly released Snapdragon 782G.

The two models are accompanied by 8 or 12 GB of RAM and a base storage starting at 256 GB. As for the battery, we both have 4,800 mAh with 66W fast charging.

For the display, we have a little difference in size. Honor 80 has 6.67 inches while Honor 80 Pro reaches 6.78″. panels are OLED at 120 Hzbut the difference is in quality and resolution, while the Honor 80 is a more traditional FullHD+ panel, the Honor 80 Pro has a resolution similar to 2K.

Both Honor 80 and Honor 80 Pro add a 160-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture lens. this rear cameras are in figure-8 camera module, this matches well with the device number. The Pro model is accompanied by a 50-megapixel wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the Honor 80 side, we have 8 megapixel wide angle.

Magic OS 7.0 It is the new version of Honor software based on Android 12. The device is currently in China but remember that the international version comes with full Google services.

Versions and price of Honor 80 and Honor 80 Pro

The new Honor 80 will be available on multiple surfaces. Both the Honor 80 Pro and the standard model come in black, green, blue and pink. Honor has announced its availability and price in China, but it has not been ruled out that one of the two versions will expand to more countries. These official prices:
