The Galaxy Unpacked show, where Samsung will present the new Galaxy S23 smartphone series, will be held in the United States in early February 2023. This was reported by Korea’s JoongAng Daily with reference to one of Samsung’s top executives.
An unnamed Samsung representative declined to reveal details of the event, while a second South Korean media source said the show will take place in San Francisco during the first week of February. The new data refutes earlier rumors that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S23 at the CES 2023 tech show in Las Vegas in early January.
Korea JoongAng Daily also writes that Galaxy S23 series smartphones will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor. Journalists also expect Samsung’s new flagships to have higher price tags than the Galaxy S22 series, with the youngest model starting at $749 due to global inflation.
