Authorized insider OnLeaks has released images of the upcoming budget smartphone Google Pixel 7a, as reported by the smartprix portal.

According to the source, the new product will have the same design as the base Pixel 7 model. At the same time, the size difference will be insignificant. Pixel 7a will get small bezels all around the screen and a high “chin”.

The volume buttons, power button, speaker grill, and USB Type-C port will retain their positions. Previously, it was believed that the smartphone will have a headphone jack, but renders show the opposite.

The Pixel 7a is expected to feature a 90Hz display, a dual primary Sony camera, and 5W wireless charging. Tensor G2, the flagship chip used in Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, will be responsible for the performance of the budget device.

The Pixel 7a’s presentation date has not yet been announced. According to rumors, the announcement of the new product could take place in the first half of 2023.
