Vivo has recently launched a new budget smartphone in Indonesia called Vivo Y02. The smartphone has an affordable price and a stylish design with a single rear camera. Vivo has yet to announce that the device will launch in India, but a popular whistleblower claimed that the device will arrive next week. Let’s take a closer look at the details.

Insider Paras Guglani claims that the entry-level Vivo Y02 will debut in India next week. He said the smartphone will be available in 3GB + 32GB single memory configuration and will be offered in Orchid Blue and Cosmic Gray colors. Additionally, Guglani says the Vivo Y02 will be available for sale at Rs. 1000 cashback offers and will target offline buyers.

Talking about the specs of the device, it has a huge 6.51-inch IPS LCD display with a drop notch to make room for the selfie camera. The screen has an HD+ resolution of 720×1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It is powered by an octa-core processor, possibly the Helio P22 chip.

In terms of cameras, the Vivo Y02 has a single 8-megapixel camera and an LED flash on the back. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel camera sensor for selfies and video calls. It comes with 2GB/3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The memory can also be expanded using a MicroSD card.

The 4G phone supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack. In terms of software, it runs on Android 12 (Go version). The dimensions of the phone are 163.99×75.63×8.49 mm and its weight is approximately 186 grams.
