The device is expected to have a screen with a very narrow bezel, breaking the record for width in the industry, and a front camera. A flat metal frame that connects the display to the back panel runs along the perimeter of the smartphone. In this regard, similarities with the iPhone 14 can be followed.
According to official reports, Xiaomi 13 will feature a custom-made high quality OLED flat screen with 93.3% effective screen area, 1.61mm wide bezel on three sides and 1.81mm wide chin. For comparison, the iPhone 14’s frame width is 2.4mm.
Xiaomi has already confirmed that Xiaomi 13 will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 single-chip system, latest generation LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash memory. In addition, the phone will receive a Leica camera with an additional 75mm lens, and the older model will be equipped with a one-inch Sony IMX989 sensor.
