Galaxy M04 comes with 5000mAh battery, 2 years of OS update

Samsung Galaxy M04 announced in India. An entry-level offering with up to 8GB of RAM, which includes the company’s RAM Plus feature. It has ample internal storage and a large battery. Although this is an entry-level phone, Samsung will provide it with OS updates for two years.

Samsung Galaxy M04 has a 6.5 inch PLS LCD display with 720×1600 pixel HD+ resolution. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front camera. On the back of the device, there is a 13 MP main camera, 2 MP macro camera and LED flash.

Galaxy M04 is powered by Helio P35 chipset and has 4GB of RAM. It offers up to 4GB of RAM Plus (virtual RAM) and 128GB of internal storage. It has a microSD card slot for additional storage. The Android 12 operating system based on OneUI is pre-installed on the device. Samsung’s 2-year operating system update promise confirms that it will receive the Android 14 operating system update.

The M04 includes a 5,000mAh battery that only supports 10W charging. In terms of connectivity, the phone offers features like dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. In the absence of a fingerprint scanner, the M04 offers users biometric facial recognition. The specs of the device reveal that it is a rebranded version of the Galaxy A04e that was recently launched in the global market.

Galaxy M04 is priced at Rs 8,499 (~$104) in India. Available in black and green colors. The device is scheduled to go on sale for the first time on the Samsung India website and Amazon on 16 December at 12:00 (local time).
