Sonos has updated the Trueplay feature available in the Sonos app, allowing Trueplay to work with iPhone 14 models. Trueplay uses iPhone to scan the room where the Sonos product is located and measures how sound is reflected off walls, furniture, and surfaces in that location. .
Trueplay is designed to use this information to fine-tune your speaker or Sonos device to optimize audio output. A three-minute process, Trueplay can be done on iOS devices in the Settings tab of the Sonos app.
Since the launch of the ‌iPhone 14‌ models, Trueplay has been unavailable, meaning users of ‌iPhone 14‌ with Sonos speakers and no other ‌iPhone‌ can use the setup feature. Today Sonos has implemented wireless support so Trueplay can work with “iPhone 14”, “iPhone 14” Plus, “iPhone 14 Pro” and “iPhone 14 Pro” Max. All Sonos products support Trueplay except Port, Connect and Roam SL.
