Nokia has launched the new member of the Nokia C series smartphones; Nokia C31. It’s an entry-level smartphone with pretty good specs like a 5050mAh battery and a 6.7-inch display. It has a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1200*720 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20:9, a drop notch for the selfie camera, and a standard refresh rate of 60Hz. It runs on an unknown octa-core chipset with 4X Cortex A55 cores running at 1.6GHz and 4X Cortex A53 cores running at 1.2GHz.

In terms of cameras, it has a triple rear camera with a 13-megapixel primary sensor paired with a 2-megapixel secondary depth sensor and a 2-megapixel tertiary macro lens. On the front, we see a 5-megapixel selfie camera housed inside the waterdrop notch. It also comes with some software camera features like portrait mode, HDR mode, night mode and smart storage. It is powered by a 5050mAh battery that supports standard 10W charging.

In terms of connectivity, it comes with MicroUSB 2.0 charging port, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 4.2 support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS/AGPS/Galileo based location tracking support. It comes with support for up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. You can also expand the memory up to 256GB using a dedicated microSD card. It boots on Android 12 right out of the box.

The brand promises quarterly security patches for the device for up to 2 years. It also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Nokia C31 will be available in two different models in the country; 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB. It is priced at INR 9,999 and INR 10,999 respectively. The device will be available in charcoal, mint and blue colors. It will soon be available for purchase in the country from the brands’ official e-commerce retail outlets.
