According to iDropNews, Apple has begun planning a new pricing policy for the fall launch of the iPhone 14 series. The source confirms preliminary information that Cupertino companies will lower the price of the iPhone 12 from $699 to $599. As for the iPhone 12 mini, the starting price of this device will be $499.
Similar marketing moves have been used before, so Apple has no plans to change its proven strategy this year. As for the iPhone 11, the company should abandon the production of this model.
This year the iPhone 14 series will undergo the following changes: the company will stop releasing a 5.4-inch model. There will now be two 6.1-inch and two 6.7-inch models in the lineup. Buyers will be able to choose between the iPhone 14, 14 Max, 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. The 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max will receive two cutouts on the screen, while the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max will retain their bangs.
As previously reported, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will feature significantly enlarged camera modules via a new 48-megapixel image sensor. In this case, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will receive a reduced camera module in which two sensors will be located, in the same way as the iPhone 13.
