Elon Muskremains at the top of the agenda with what it did after buying Twitter. The famous businessman, who says he constantly defends freedom of speech, has been making moves lately that contradict this. Today, Musk suspended the accounts of journalists from giant media companies such as CNN, The Washington Post, Mashable, The New York Times. This move provoked a reaction from the European Union and the United Nations.

Owner of Twitter, the platform’s live chat feature in the past few hours of Spaces joined a room. A few journalists were present, including Drew Harrell, the Washington Post journalist who was banned from the platform. While saying he continues to support free speech in his speech, Musk said he can also throw journalists who share information about themselves that he doesn’t like. When it was over, he left the room. After that, there was an improvement in the Spaces feature.

Spaces is temporarily unavailable

Today, many users on the platform subscribe to Spaces. they could not reach reported. Information from both Android and iOS users during the day revealed that Musk’s post had been partially removed from Twitter. In response to a question asked about this, Musk stated that this happened because of a bug, it will be fixed tomorrow.

Let me start by saying: There were also people from suspended accounts in the Spaces room that Musk visited. As you can see in the video above, Washington Post journalist whose accounts have been suspended Drew Harrell and the ElonJet account that tracked Musk’s jet was able to enter the room. This is not supposed to happen normally; so something is really wrong with the function. But under normal circumstances, this bug is silently fixed with an update. The strange thing is that Musk overreacted by personalizing the topic and Twitter temporarily removed the feature without any notice.

We can guess what caused this. As is well known, Musk has said in recent months that he will bring freedom of speech to Twitter. But his movements were the opposite of that. The businessman shut down the accounts that fooled him during this process, fired his employees who criticized the platform, closed his ElonJet account despite saying he would not do so sooner, and finally suspended the accounts of the journalists. This situation provoked reactions from all over the world, including from the authorities. In addition, the images that came out recently showed that Musk was booed by thousands of people in a comedy show.

The Spaces feature, which has made Twitter very successful in live chat rooms, is expected to reopen to everyone tomorrow. Information from now that some Android users have fixed the featureand web users can listen to the rooms; but reveals that he was unable to attend. The problem persists for iOS users.
