Reports suggest that the Honor X9a will be a rebranded version of the Honor X40, which is already available in China. The X9a will be the third phone under the X9 brand in the Chinese market. So far, the company has launched Honor X9 with Snapdragon 680 SoC and Honor X9 5G with Snapdragon 695 chip.

The X9a will be equipped with Android 12 OS based on Magic UI. The appearance of the device on Geekbench revealed that it will most likely be powered by the Snapdragon 695 chipset.
