Honor recently confirmed that the Honor X9a 5G will launch in Malaysia on January 4, 2023. However, the X9a 5G is now listed with all its specs on Honor’s website for the Middle East market. Unfortunately, the listing does not mention the price of the device. The X9a was previously believed to be a rebranded version of the Honor X40, which was only available in China. However, the official listing reveals that the X9a’s specs are slightly different from the X40.

Honor X9a 5G specs and features

Honor X9a 5G features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixels Full HD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate and 10-bit color. It has an under-display fingerprint scanner for security.

On the front, the Honor X9a has a 16-megapixel selfie camera. On the back of the device, there is a 64-megapixel main camera with f / 1.8 aperture, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone is running Android 12 OS based on Magic UI 6.1.Honor X9a 5G

Under the hood of the Honor X9a 5G is the Snapdragon 695 chip, with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage. It will have a 5100mAh battery with 40W charging. It offers connectivity options such as Dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC and USB-C port. The X9a measures 161.6×73.9×7.9mm and weighs 175 grams.

The price of the Honor X9a 5G will likely be confirmed when it launches in Malaysia on January 4. The device will be available in three colors such as Titanium Silver, Emerald Green and Midnight Black.
