Let us remind you that shortly after the terrorist country’s total invasion of Ukraine, Apple left the Russian market. After that, as reported channel 24 The smartphone manufacturer also banned Russian operators from adapting their networks to the new iPhone 14, referring to the Russian so-called mass media.

It is important that these modern functions, which today are supported by operators and smartphones almost all over the world, significantly improve the quality of communication. VoLTE calls make up 60% of voice traffic in Russia alone.

That is, Russians who will now use iPhone 14 will not have high-quality audio transmission, and they will have to manually configure everything to distribute the Internet from a smartphone. And although the lack of support for such modern functions worsens the quality of communication, it is unlikely that the Russians will change their attitude to Apple products, and the demand for them will continue.

It is known that the Russians are accustomed to put up with everything, and their great desire to show each other expensive products bought with the last money or on credit will create a constant demand for Apple products.

Russia goes back to the 90s

While the country itself is mentally in the medieval stage, operators’ mobile networks risk slipping to the level of development of the 90s. The fact is that after the full-scale invasion, technology giants such as Nokia and Ericsson announced that they were withdrawing from the Russian market. These companies are engaged in the creation and sale of modern equipment, without which the creation of modern mobile communication networks is impossible.

Nokia recently stated that it would like to obtain permission to supply Russia with the equipment it was obliged to supply under old agreements. In addition, no company will cooperate with a terrorist country and will be forced to set up networks on its own “analog” equipment, which, at best, can only file tax returns on paper or in the form of lines of expenditure.
