One of the editors of the GSMArena portal selected the five best smartphones released in 2022. The list includes the iPhone 14 Pro, the basic Google Pixel 7, Asus Zenfone 9, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 and Oppo Find N.

It is stated that the iPhone 14 Pro has one of the best cameras on the market and the most efficient Apple A16 Bionic chip. GSMArena also highlights the iPhone because of Apple’s long-term software support. The disadvantages of the smartphone include the absence of a periscopic camera, which can be found on Android flagships, and the weight of the smartphone – 204 and 214 grams on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, respectively.

The base Pixel 7 was praised for its compact size, quality screen, flagship main camera and low price compared to its rivals. One of the main drawbacks of the Pixel 7 is that the ultra-wide-angle camera works in low light.

The expert drew attention to the high performance of the Asus Zenfone 9 smartphone, which is achieved thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and the 50-megapixel main camera. The only drawback of the device has been called asymmetrical bezels around the screen.

The foldable Galaxy Z Fold4 and Oppo Find N were chosen as the best smartphones of 2022 by GSMArena due to their improved ergonomics, high performance, quality screens and no wrinkles in folding compared to their competitors.
