Samsung is busy updating its broad portfolio of smartphones and tablets to Android 13. The brand has released a stable version of Android-based One UI 5 for a significant number of mid-range, flagship and budget devices. In the latest development, the Korean OEM is rolling out the Android 13 update to the Galaxy A13. This will be the first major software update for an affordable smartphone.

One UI 5 update for Galaxy A13 is rolling out with firmware version A135FXXU2BVL2. It includes the November 2022 patch, which fixes many vulnerabilities as well as all the new features of Android 13. As of this writing, the software is hosted in many countries in Asia and Europe, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Croatia, France, Georgia, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Czech Republic. and the United Kingdom.

As always, Samsung releases updates in bulk, so it may take several days for the update to reach every device. If you have a Galaxy A13 and live in the countries mentioned above, you can manually check for the update by going to settings and selecting Software Update.

The Android 13 update brings with it a host of new features and improvements. There are some minor UI changes, including an improved color palette feature, larger notification icons, and better blur effects in the notification area. The software also includes additional quick settings toggles, stacked widgets, and enhanced lock screen customization.

To remind you, the Galaxy A13, which was launched in March this year with an octa-core Exynos 850 processor, has a 6.6-inch LCD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
