Journalists drew attention to the teaser of the new Realme GT Neo 5 smartphone, which the company published on Weibo. Judging by the image, the device will have 240 W fast charging support. Other features of the device are not disclosed. The presentation of the gadget is scheduled for January 5, 2023.
According to the authors, the GT Neo 3 currently has the fastest charge – 150 watts. The company is expected to launch two versions of the Realme GT Neo 5: the model with a 4,600 milliamp-hour battery will receive a 240-watt charge, while the device with a 5,000-milliamp-hour battery will receive a 150-watt charge. The flagship device is expected to be powered by the overclocked Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.
The fastest charging phone on the market right now is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer. The device received a battery with a capacity of 4300 milliamp-hours with a charge of 210 watts. According to Xiaomi representatives, the smartphone can be charged to 100 percent in 9 minutes.
