Redmi gave a big gift to its fans in China by launching the new Redmi K60 and K60 Pro flagships today on December 31st. But all this is not a surprise: today the company presented the budget Redmi 12C. The phone is based on MediaTek Helio G85 SoC equipped with LPDDR4x RAM and eMMC 5.1 flash memory. IPS screen – with a diagonal of 6.71 inches, a resolution of 1650×720 pixels and a frame rate of 120 Hz.
The front camera is 5 megapixels and the main camera has sensors with a resolution of 50 and 2 MP. There is also a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support, a Bluetooth 5.1 module and a fingerprint scanner on the back.
The phone is 8.77mm thick and weighs 192 grams. Android 12 with MIUI 13 interface appeared as the operating system. The basic version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of flash memory costs $100. Other options are 4/128GB for $115 and 6/128GB for $130.
