Samsung presented its latest ultra-bright UDR 2000 OLED display at CES 2023, currently held in Las Vegas – the peak brightness reaches 2200 cd/m2. Naturally, rumors that such a screen could be used in one of Samsung’s new flagships immediately appeared, as the announcement of the new Galaxy S23 phones is not far off. The most suitable candidate for this is, of course, the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

But insider Ahmed Qwaider denied these rumors – he said the Galaxy S23 Ultra will use an AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1750 cd/m2. Kvider’s words were commented on by another well-known informant, Ice Universe. He tweeted: “Yes, I’m 100% sure it’s on the S23 Ultra [екрану UDR 2000 OLED] It won’t happen I must say, it’s a pity“.
