Xiaomi has sold more than 300,000 Redmi K60 series within five minutes of its launch. Wekihome’s disassembly video provides a brief overview of the insides of the K60/K60 Pro. The detailed disassembly video shows that the two phones bear striking similarities. This includes a simplified assembly process for the two models. Redmi K60 Pro has a larger camera sensor than the K60.

The video reveals two different chipsets K60 and K60 Pro. The base model is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, while the K60 Pro has Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The Pro model uses Samsung’s UFS 4.0 and Micron’s LPDDR5X RAM. The K60, on the other hand, uses Samsung’s UFS 3.1 and LPDDR5. As for thermal management, both models use a large vapor chamber to cool the chipsets. But the dimensions of the steam rooms are slightly different.
Redmi K60 Pro It supports 120W wired fast charging and there is an additional chip on the motherboard for this. Both models have the Surge P1 charging chip at the bottom. The K60 has a larger battery size than its pro counterpart. The K60 also has a larger battery capacity, but both models can offer the same battery performance.
