Honor announced the Magic 4 and Magic 4 Pro smartphones in its home market in China last month, after the device debuted in the European market in February. The flagship smartphone Honor Magic 4 Pro is now available for purchase in the Chinese market, which went on order a few days ago. Previously, the sale of the device was delayed for 20 days.
The base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal memory is ~$850, while the model with 12GB RAM and 256GB memory is ~$912. The model with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal memory costs ~ $ 1005. The phone is available in four colors – blue, gold, black, white and orange.
Honor Magic 4 Pro features a 6.81-inch OLED LTPO display with a screen resolution of 1312 × 2848 pixels, a variable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a pixel density of 460 PPI and a touch sampling rate of 360 Hz. Under the hood, the device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor along with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal memory. It also comes with a proprietary Honor Image Engine chip to improve the quality of photography.
The phone is also integrated with a standalone chipset that offers a dual TEE security system to better protect users’ privacy. It also has a built-in ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for added security. Coming to the camera, the rear panel has a triple camera that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 64-megapixel telephoto lens. On the front, there is a 12-megapixel camera combined with a 3D depth camera for better face detection.
Honor Magic 4 Pro runs the latest Android 12 operating system with the company’s Magic UI 6 interface. It is powered by a 4600mAh battery and supports fast charging with a capacity of 100 watts. Source
