Oppo is apparently planning to launch a new Reno 8 series smartphone named Reno 8T in India and the global market. A recent leak has revealed a few details about the phone and also shared renders of the phone. Now, a new report indicates that the Reno 8T will have 4G and 5G variants, both with slightly different specs.

According to a report by Phoneev, the Oppo Reno 8T 5G will have a 6.67-inch 10-bit OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will be powered by a Snapdragon 695 5G chipset paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It is powered by a 4,800mAh battery and supports 67W wired fast charging.

For photography, it will have a triple camera setup on the back, led by a 108MP primary camera. The main sensor will be accompanied by a pair of 2 MP sensors. On the software front, the device will run Android 13 with ColorOS 13 on top.

The Oppo Reno 8T 4G will reportedly also be powered by the Mediatek Helio G99 chipset with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The SoC will run with up to 8GB of RAM. The smartphone is said to only support 33W charging. It can also run on Android 13.

The report also suggests that the 4G model will have the faux leather back seen on the Oppo Reno 7. On the other hand, the 5G phone will have the same design as the Oppo A1 Pro 5G and Realme 10 Pro+ 5G. . The launch date of the Oppo Reno 8T is not yet known. However, the report says that the smartphone will debut in the global market later this month and will arrive in India next month. It may come to the Indian market as the Oppo F23.
