Samsung continued to introduce the Galaxy A14 at the recently ended CES 2023. The South Korean tech company has launched the entry-level Samsung Galaxy A14 in the US market. That’s the impetus for this year’s product lineup, which includes the Galaxy S23 and A54. The Samsung Galaxy A54 (and possibly A34) will be introduced later this month, while the S23 series will be introduced on February 1.
The Samsung Galaxy A14 is an entry-level smartphone available in the US directly from Samsung’s online store. It comes unlocked and has basic features. It has a 6.6-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1080×2480 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset powers the smartphone in a 4GB/64GB RAM/Storage configuration. The A14’s memory is expandable with a solid state drive and the fingerprint scanner is built into the power button.
Galaxy A14 has a 5,000 mAh battery, but it is unknown how long it will last. The charging architecture and charging speed of the device are currently unknown. The A14 has a 50-megapixel main sensor, 2-megapixel macro sensor, 2-megapixel depth sensor and 13-megapixel selfie camera. It comes with Android 13 and One UI 5 Core out of the box. One UI 5 is Samsung’s skin for budget offerings. It lacks some features that can slow down the smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy A14 will retail for $199.99 in the US. Samsung just launched the Galaxy A14 in black. Later the model can also be found in other markets. However, the focus will shift to the Samsung Galaxy model lineup, which will launch next week and in February.
