Announcing the long-awaited first full-fledged Vivo X Fold smartphone recently, Vivo has announced that it will go on sale in China. Vivo X Fold has an 8.03-inch E5 LTPO OLED 3.0 display with UTG protective glass that supports 120 Hz refresh rate. The screen has 2K resolution and an aspect ratio of 4:3.5. It also supports HDR10+ and covers 113% of the DCI P3 color gamut. The X Fold has set or broken 19 DisplayMate A+ records, and the hinge has been certified by TUV Rheinland for 300,000 cycles of flexion/extension.

The optional display features a 6.53-inch E5 OLED panel with Full HD+ screen resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, 100 percent DCI P3 color gamut coverage, and a 21:9 aspect ratio. Both displays have recessed front cameras.

The smartphone is based on a single-chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 system powered by LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash memory. The phone is equipped with a quad camera with Zeiss logo, as well as the main image sensor Samsung GN5 with a resolution of 50 MP with optical stabilization. In addition, sensors with a resolution of 48, 12 and 5 MP are installed. The latter should provide 60x zoom.

Vivo X Fold received Android 12 and a 4600 mAh battery with support for 66 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and NFC modules. Source
