Accelerating the MIUI 14 update program, Xiaomi has recently released both stable and beta versions of its new software for a number of smartphones in China. The company has even updated some devices in the global market. The latest devices to receive the Android 13 update are Redmi Note 10 Pro, Note 11T Pro Plus, Redmi K40S and Redmi K50G.

All these devices are getting MIUI 14 update in China. The update includes all the new features introduced by Google in the latest version of Android, as well as some exclusive Xiaomi benefits. The distribution is grayscale, meaning new software is released in batches and each group has a limited number of users.

As a reminder, the latest Xiaomi firmware MIUI 14 has an elegant design and is considered the lightest version. It has an improved system architecture and a new Photon Engine that promises faster application loading. MIUI 14 brings a number of visual changes in addition to improved performance. Users can now customize folders with larger icons and choose from a variety of widgets of different shapes and sizes. New features have also been added, such as automatic compression for infrequently used apps, the ability to turn off persistent notifications, and home screen favorites.

In related news, a recent report revealed that Xiaomi will also update the Redmi Note 9 series and Poco M2 series with MIUI 14. 14 will be the last OS update for these devices.
