iPhone 15 will have Wi-Fi 6E just like the latest Macs and iPad Pro

According to Barclays analysts Blaine Curtis and Tom O’Malley, the iPhone 15 will support Wi-Fi 6E. Analysts did not specify whether this feature will be limited to all models or Pro models. So far, Apple has added Wi-Fi 6E support to various devices, including the latest 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pros, 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, and Mac mini models, and all iPhone 14 models remain. limited to standard Wi-Fi 6.

Wi-Fi 6 operates in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, and Wi-Fi 6E also operates in the 6 GHz band, providing faster wireless speeds, lower latency and less signal interference. To take advantage of these benefits, the device must be connected to a Wi-Fi 6E router available from brands such as TP-Link, Asus, and Netgear.

Wi-Fi 6E was also rumored for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 models, but as Apple has started rolling out Wi-Fi 6E support to its latest devices, the iPhone 15 is more likely to eventually support the standard.

As usual, Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max in September. All four models are said to feature a dynamic island and a USB-C port, while Pro models are expected to feature Apple’s latest A17 Bionic chip, titanium bezel, solid-state volume and power buttons, and more.
