Apple is said to be working on a foldable iPad model for a while, and a new report has emerged about the device. Apparently, this model will be equipped with a built-in stand. Here are all the details.

The news comes from renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who shared details about the foldable iPad, which is reported to be released in 2025. He claims there’s also a small chance for the Cupertino-based giant to launch the device as Nu next year. Kuo also mentioned Anjie Technology, which may soon join Apple’s supply chain. This company is expected to benefit from the new design that the folding iPad will have.

First of all, this concerns the built-in stand. The analyst added that sources close to the subject also claimed that the stand could be made of carbon fiber. In other words, Apple will make a lightweight addition to the foldable iPad without sacrificing its durability or strength. Also speaking of iPad supply, Kuo believes it may decrease in 2023, as new iPads may not arrive in the next 9-12 months.

The analyst believes that mass production of the new version of the iPad mini will also begin in the first quarter of next year. As such, he expects iPad shipments to fall 10 to 15 percent this year.
