Yesterday, OnePlus revealed the key specs of the upcoming OnePlus Ace 2 display. Today, the company confirmed the device’s battery size and charging capacity. It will be the first device to feature the SuperVOOC S power management chip.
The OnePlus Ace 2 will pack a 5,000mAh battery and will support 100W SuperVOOC charging. According to OnePlus, it takes about 10 minutes for the OnePlus Ace 2 to go from 0 percent to 50 percent. The SuperVOOC S power management chip helps extend the device’s battery life.
Other reports have suggested that the OnePlus Ace 2 will feature an AMOLED panel with curved edges and a punch in the center. It will be 6.74 inches AMOLED with 1.5K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 1450 nits brightness. For security, it will have an under-display fingerprint scanner.
The Ace 2 will come preloaded with Android 13 and ColorOS 13. The device will have a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies. On the back, there will be a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support, a 12-megapixel or 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
The OnePlus Ace 2 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC, paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Some reports claim that the device will have up to 18GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Ace 2’s premiere is scheduled for February 7 in China. OnePlus 11R will be officially launched in India on the same day. There are speculations that there may be many similarities between the two phones.
