Realme will launch the Realme GT Neo 5 on February 9 in China. The company is expected to make the global announcement later this month at the MWC 2023 trade show. Today, the company has released a promotional video that reveals all the design and key features. As you can see, the back panel of the Realme GT Neo 5 has an RGB LED backlight. Lights up red when the phone’s battery power drops below 20 percent. Above 20 percent purple light will always be on.
When there is an incoming call, the RGB light unit flashes purple and glows white for notifications. It will show different colors during gameplay, says the WHY LAB speaker. For example, shooting games for different weapons will have different lighting effects.
A screenshot taken from the video below reveals that the Realme GT Neo 5 will feature the iPhone-like Dynamic Island. Coming to the front panel design of the phone, the GT Neo 5 appears to have a flat screen with a hole in the middle. On the top of the device you can see a microphone and an IR blaster.
Reports have revealed that the Realme GT Neo 5 will feature a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The device will come pre-installed with Android 13 with Realme UI 4.0 on top. The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip will provide the GT Neo 5 with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
