Initially, Elon Musk was determined to replace rear-view mirrors with cameras, and many automakers are already on this path, but current requirements for cars in the United States make it mandatory to have rear-view mirrors. Until the lawmakers’ perspective changes, Tesla will have to equip the Cybertruck with conventional mirrors.
