OnePlus will launch a few devices tomorrow. OnePlus 11 5G will make its global debut alongside the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. Chinese customers will receive the OnePlus Pad. The OnePlus Ace 2 smartphone will also launch in China, and the same device will launch as the OnePlus 11R for customers worldwide.
There has been a lot of buzz about the OnePlus Ace 2/11R so far, as it is expected to be close to the flagship at a significantly lower price compared to the OnePlus 11. to have a Sony IMX890 5OMP sensor. For those who don’t know, this is the same sensor used in the main camera of the OnePlus 11 that was launched in China a month ago.
With the built-in IMX890 sensor, high image quality is expected, including support for RAW shooting modes to preserve the maximum amount of detail for further processing by the user. However, it’s worth noting that the camera will not be Hasselblad tuned, meaning it may differ in color accuracy, and the flagship will not have Hasselblad mode. Since the OnePlus Ace 2 is the same device as the OnePlus 11R, we can expect this sensor to be included in the global version as well.
Additionally, the brand has recently confirmed LPDDR5x RAM support in the OnePlus Ace 2. The device will be available in 12GB and 16GB RAM variants. According to previous reports, OnePlus Ace 2 will feature a 6.74-inch curved OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. A fingerprint sensor will be placed on the screen. It is expected to run on Android 13 with the ColorOS 13 interface.
In addition to the 50-megapixel IMX890 sensor with OIS support, the device is expected to have a 12- or 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera paired with a 2-megapixel macro camera. The selfie camera is likely to have a 16MP sensor. The hardware will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.
