The Poco brand has officially introduced the Poco X5 and Poco X5 Pro smartphones today. They have more in common than differences: different platforms, main sensors of the main camera, charging speed. Both models are equipped with AMOLED displays with a diagonal of 6.67 inches, Full HD+ resolution and a frame rate of 120 Hz. The brightness – 1200 cd/m², which is impressive for inexpensive devices, attracts attention. Dolby Vision and HDR10+ technologies are also supported. There is a fingerprint scanner, but not under the screen, but on the side – integrated into the power switch.

The resolution of the main sensor of the main camera of Poco X5 Pro is 108 MP, Poco X5 – 48 MP. The resolution of the other sensors of the main camera is the same – 8 and 2 MP. The front camera of the Poco X5 is 13 megapixels, while the Poco X5 Pro is 16 megapixels.

Poco X5 is built on Snapdragon 695, Poco X5 Pro is based on Snapdragon 778G SoC (cooled using an evaporation chamber). The phones are equipped with a 5000 mAh battery, but in the case of the X5 the charging power is 33 W, in the X5 Pro – 67 W.

Poco innovations received the Android 13-based MIUI 14 interface right out of the box. In addition, the devices are equipped with infrared emitters, NFC chips and standard connectors for connecting headphones. The base Poco X5 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of flash is estimated at $250. The price of the version with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory is $ 300. Similar variants of the Poco X5 Pro are priced at $300 and $350.
