According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is considering a more expensive “Ultra” iPhone to sit above the iPhone Pro. According to him, the device could arrive as early as next year. Gürman also pointed to the latest statements of Apple CEO Tim Cook. When asked whether the increase in the average iPhone price is sustainable, analysts said, “The iPhone has become an integral part of people’s lives.”
“I think people are willing to push really hard to get the best they can afford in this category.”
Gürman hinted that the iPhone Ultra might have a faster processor, a better camera, and even a bigger screen.
“There may also be more promising features, such as finally leaving the charging port,” he adds. Apple already uses the word “Ultra” for its best-in-class M2 processors and clocks. The next iPhone?
