The SUCOM network has already been tested on a drone where the normal module is frequently disconnected, while the SUCOM module has provided a stable connection.
To demonstrate the capabilities of the system, a drone equipped with a SUCOM module flew through a 14-kilometer cellular communication “dead zone” in Germany without losing communication.
This technology is currently used by medical delivery drones in Malawi, allowing remote operators to continuously monitor information about their flights.
