Xiaomi 12 Pro is getting MIUI 14 update based on Android 13 in many markets. Recently, the device received the latest software update in India. The update is currently available for Mi Pilot testers. It should be made available to all users in the coming days.

Android 13-based MIUI 14 update for Xiaomi 12 Pro in India comes with firmware version V14.0.1.0.TLBINXM. It has an enormous weight of 4.4 GB. Although we are in February, the update only includes security patches for January 2023. Also, the official changelog doesn’t mention any new features. In any case, the phone has received all the new features of MIUI 14 aimed at global markets.

According to MIUI’s rollout history in India, the update is expected to reach all users in a month or less. After pilot testing, the update will enter the Stable Beta phase and then the Stable phase.

Android 13 is the first Android update for Xiaomi 12 Pro. Moreover, MIUI 14 is also the first MIUI update. Since the smartphone is eligible for three Android updates, it should go up to Android 15 and at least MIUI 16. Samsung, Oppo and OnePlus are now promising four Android updates.
