After launching in China in late 2022, the Vivo X90 series made its worldwide debut with a launch in Malaysia earlier this month. The device is expected to arrive in other regions in the near future. While markets outside of China will reportedly only receive two models, the X90 and X90 Pro, the X90 Pro+ will only be available in the brand’s domestic market.
Ahead of its European launch, whistleblower SnoopyTech shared information about the X90 Pro. According to the information obtained, Vivo X90 Pro will be available in Europe in a single configuration of 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. Its price will be 1100-1200 euros. He adds that the X90 Pro will only be available in a single color, namely the legendary black. Information about the exact date of the launch in Europe has not yet been made public.
Vivo X90 will have a 6.78-inch OLED display with curved edges with FHD + resolution. This panel will have a 120 Hz refresh rate, a maximum brightness of 1300 nits and HDR10 + support. There will be a central hole for the front camera and an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.
Vivo’s upcoming flagship device will feature advanced camera technology that includes a 1-inch 50MP Sony IMX989 main sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX758 portrait camera, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. With the help of Zeiss, the camera system has been adjusted and the lenses will have a T* coating. The device will also have five additional portrait mode filters for the front camera and support 4K Super Night Mode video.
Vivo’s new device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset and will have the added power of Vivo’s own V2 chipset. This combination will improve the photography, gaming performance and graphics of the device. The chipset will be cooled by a large VC liquid cooling system with a surface area of 4002 mm2, which ensures smooth operation even during heavy use.
The device will be powered by a 4,870mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging, and the brand claims it will charge to 90% in just 8 minutes. The only color option available at launch will be the 9.34mm-thick Legend Black. The phone also has an IP68 certification that protects against water and dust.
