Poco has recently launched the Poco X5 Pro 5G smartphone in India, kicking off new competition in the sub-Rp25,000 market segment. The device offers an outstanding price-quality ratio not found in any other smartphone released recently. This device will go on sale in the country from today.

Poco X5 Pro 5G Price, Launch Offers and Availability

The Poco X5 Pro 5G is available in two storage variants: 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB, priced at Rs 22,999 and Rs 24,999 respectively. As a special launch offer, HDFC and ICICI Bank users will receive a fixed discount of Rs 2,000 on credit and debit card transactions. In addition, customers using Flipkart Axis Credit Card will be entitled to 5% cashback on their purchases.

The Poco X5 Pro has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. It has a 10-bit display with a maximum brightness of 900 nits and a contrast ratio of 50,000,000:1. This advanced display panel also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ content, giving users an immersive viewing experience.

Underneath the device’s case is a reliable Snapdragon 778G chipset built using TSMC’s 6nm process. The chipset is equipped with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 memory. Although Android 13 has been available for a while, the X5 Pro 5G still launches MIUI 14 based on Android 12.

POCO X5 Pro 5G features a triple primary camera driven by a primary 108-megapixel Samsung HM2 sensor with OIS support. This main sensor is accompanied by a 2-megapixel macro sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The device also has a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. It uses Type-C port for both charging and data transfer. For security, the device is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack for users who prefer wired headphones.

POCO X5 Pro 5G offers a host of connectivity options, including dual SIM support, 5G connectivity, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS and Galileo. The device also has an IP53 rating, making it splash and dust resistant.
