MIUI 14 update is now available for two more devices in India. These are the Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge phones. For those who don’t know, these two smartphones are rebranded versions of the Chinese Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus. They get the latest MIUI software after the original models. MIUI 14 update for Xiaomi 11i series in India also brings Android 13. In other words, the device has now received two MIUI and Android updates.

The update comes with a build number V14.0.1.0.TKTINXM. According to this xiaomiui, currently only available for “Mi Pilot testers”. Unless there are serious problems with this software build, it will be released as a “stable beta” to a limited number of general users. It will then be gradually rolled out to all users. In other words, the update will reach all units in the next few weeks.

Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge debuted with Android 11 based MIUI 12.5. They were updated to MIUI 13 and Android 12 last year. We are not sure if these two phones will receive more major software updates. However, there is a chance that it will happen, as the new Xiaomi smartphones are eligible for three Android updates. At least they can access the third MIUI update. With all this, phone users can periodically go to settings to check if their device is getting the latest OTA system update.
