The Redmi 12C was launched as a super affordable smartphone on New Year’s Eve in China. The phone has impressive features for its price. For example, it is equipped with a large screen, a powerful battery and a powerful chipset. The Redmi 12C is also expected to enter the global market, but there is no official confirmation yet. However, a well-known source says that the phone may launch outside of China next week. The price and features of the phone have also been revealed.

A reliable insider, Paras Guglani, claims that the global launch of the Redmi 12C will take place on February 26. You may know that the Xiaomi 13 series was also released on the same day. An insider says that the Redmi smartphone will be offered in three colors Ocean Blue, Mint Green and Graphite Grey. It is also assumed that the device will be offered with two storage options. The base model can have 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, while the top-of-the-line version can have 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Separately, an Appauls report indicates that the base model of the Redmi 12C will cost 170 euros, while the high-end variant may cost 200 euros. These prices are for the old continent and may vary by country and applicable taxes. Apart from this, it is claimed in the report that the Redmi 12C, which will be released to the global market, will have the same features as its Chinese counterpart.

This means that the phone could have a 6.71 inch IPS LCD display with HD+ (720×1650 pixels) resolution, 500 nits brightness and 20.6:9 aspect ratio. It can be equipped with a MediaTek Helio G85 processor along with LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 flash memory. It could have a 50-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel camera on the front. It is expected to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support.
