In September last year, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Civi 2 smartphone. Similar to the original Civi and Civi 1S phones before it, the Civi 2 is also available as a women’s phone. Now, a new leak has revealed the key specs of the upcoming Civi 3. According to Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi Civi 3 will feature a Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely to feature an AMOLED display with curved edges and a pill-shaped notch for the front-facing dual cameras.

The leak also states that the Civi 3 has two 32-megapixel cameras on the front. Civi 2 has dual front LED flash for brighter selfies in low light conditions. It is possible that the Civi 3 will have dual LEDs on the front as well. The rear camera of the Civi 3 will be equipped with a Sony IMX800 primary camera. He also noted that there won’t be a major overhaul in the secondary camera improvements. As a reminder, the Civi 2 is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera, a 20-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

The Snapdragon 7 series chipset was used in all previous Civi models. However, it seems that Xiaomi may offer a MediaTek SoC on the Civi 3. Last month, DCS claimed that the Civi 3 will use the Dimensity 8200 SoC, and with a new leak, it once again stated that the D8200 will power the device. The rest of the Xiaomi Civi 3 specifications are kept secret. At launch, the Civi 2 cost 2,399 yuan (~$348). Therefore, its successor is likely to come with a similar price tag.
