Sony is the most conservative smartphone maker: you have to look closely to distinguish a new model from a previously released one. The renders posted below show the new Sony Xperia 10 V, but it will be very difficult to distinguish it from the Sony Xperia 10 IV.

The image was released by Steve Hemmerstoffer (Steve Hemmerstoffer), known by the alias Onleaks. The shape of the phone hasn’t changed at all compared to the Xperia 10 IV: the bezel above and below the screen is still large. And even the camera unit with the flash outside of its perimeter looks the same.

The dimensions of the device will be 153.3×68.4×8.5 mm (9.4 mm considering the protrusion of the camera unit). The diagonal of the screen will increase slightly from 6 inches on the Xperia 10 IV to 6.1 inches. No further details about the phone were shared. The current Xperia 10 IV is built on the Snapdragon 695 5G SoC, but the new one should get a more interesting platform.

Sony Xperia 10 IV was released on May 11 last year, so Sony Xperia 10 V is expected to launch in May as well. We will remind you that the Sony Xperia 5 V was previously highlighted in the Geekbench comparison – it will receive Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and 16 GB of RAM.
