Dmitry Rogozin, head of Roscosmos, said: The first regiment armed with Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missiles is planned to be formed in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the fall.

The weapons will use the same mines as the Voivoda missiles. They won’t be recycled, just slightly upgraded electronics. The occupiers’ Department of Defense says this will save money and time. Presumably, these electronics were purchased before the sanctions were imposed or will be made from the remnants of components.

What is known about Sarmat missiles

• The first launch of the Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile was made on Wednesday, April 20, from the Plesetsk cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk region.

Sergei Karakayev, the commander of Russia’s strategic missile forces, also said that the new weapon could be equipped with several Avangard hypersonic warheads, creating “a new era – the era of hypersonic weapons.”
