Motorola is one of the few companies that has been releasing pen smartphones every year for many years. More precisely, it is the only example of big brands except Samsung. And the next-gen Moto G Stylus has already registered in the Geekbench database.

The device will be based on the MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, which scored 348 and 1329 in single-threaded and multi-threaded modes, respectively. On AnTuTu, this platform shows a result of around 230,000 points.

So, this is a good entry-level solution. True, the problem is that last year’s Moto G Stylus was based on the same platform. It is not clear why Motorola decided not to update the platform. Adding to the absurdity of the situation is the fact that the 2021 Moto G Pen is based on the Snapdragon 678, which is not only slightly faster, but also manufactured using a more complex process. At the same time, Motorola has had the Moto G Stylus 5G since last year. So far, the current model is based on the Snapdragon 695G and there is no new data yet.
