The lineup is likely to include at least two models, the Axon 40 and the Axon 40 Ultra. Today, the company confirmed that the rear panel of the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra is equipped with three 64-megapixel cameras. The setup will consist of a dedicated 64-megapixel main camera, a dedicated 64-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 4-megapixel periscope lens. All three cameras can shoot 8K video.

Tipster WHY LAB said the setup is equipped with a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 main camera with OIS support. It is accompanied by a 64-megapixel ultra-wide-angle Sony IMX787 camera and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64GB periscope telephoto lens with OIS.

The Axon 40 Ultra will be the flagship based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, and it also announced that the device will be equipped with an OLED panel with highly curved edges. It will be equipped with a camera under the screen for taking selfies.

A few days before the release of the Axon 40 Ultra, the company is expected to release more information about it in the coming days. The device is expected to run on Android 12 and the latest version of MiFavor user interface. Available with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It is expected to be equipped with a 44-megapixel front camera and a 5000mAh battery with 65-watt fast charging support. The phone will likely cost around ~$5758 in China. Source
