Motorola has launched a new smartphone in the Indian market. The new device is a mid-range phone called the Moto G73 5G and is a direct successor to the previously released G72. The smartphone maker has launched the G73 in India with slightly different specs compared to the previous announcement in Europe. The device has a 6.5 inch LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio and 120 Hz high refresh rate. While the aspect ratio and high refresh rate are great, the company has downgraded the G72’s display from AMOLED to an LCD panel. The front also has a center-aligned cutout for the camera.

Under the hood, the Moto G73 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 930 SoC paired with 128GB of internal storage. This is also a downgrade from the base 256GB configuration of the global variable. Although Motorola allows users to expand the storage up to 1TB via the microSD card slot. On the back of the smartphone is a dual camera consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor with a large 2 micron ultra-pixel sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The device will also have a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.

The G73 will be powered by a large 5,000mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. Other key features include Bluetooth 5.3, a weight of 181 grams, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, My UX based on the Android 13 operating system, fingerprint sensor on the power button, face unlock and waterproof design. Motorola has launched the G73 on Flipkart in an 8GB+128GB variant starting at INR 18,999. The device will be available in two color options, Midnight Blue and Lucent White.
