iQOO is said to be launching two Neo 8 series smartphones soon. According to reports, the iQOO Neo 8 5G and the high-end Neo 8 Pro will launch in May 2023. A well-known informant, Digital Chat Station, has leaked some key specs of the Neo 8 Pro, giving us a glimpse of what we can expect from this upcoming device. The most interesting feature of the Neo 8 Pro is its 1.5K resolution display, which is a significant improvement over the 1080p display on the previous Neo 7 series.

The iQOO Neo 8 Pro is said to be powered by the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC, making it the highest quality processor ever used in the iQOO Neo series phones. This chipset is likely to offer an incremental upgrade over the Dimensity 9200 SoC, although there are currently no details about the upcoming SoC. The company is expected to reveal more details about the SoC later this year. The Neo 8 Pro will also have a 50MP primary lens configured to use the 1/1.5 inch camera sensor.

The Neo 8 Pro is also said to have triple cameras and offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB (UFS 4.0) storage. Also, iQOO can boot the device with 120W fast charging support right out of the box. The phone is expected to have a 5,000 mAh battery similar to the one in the Neo 7 series. The standard model of the Neo 8 series is expected to have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor under the hood. It is not yet clear whether the Neo will be. The 8 series will arrive in India as previous flagship models of the line in China failed to enter the Indian market.
