Xiaomi Group President Lu Weibing, who previously announced that the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series single-chip system codenamed SM7475 will be announced soon and confirmed that it will debut in the Redmi Note 12T series, made a clarifying statement today.

Lu Weibing was at the presentation of the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 single-chip system and said that the first smartphone with such a platform will be the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which will be officially unveiled at the end of March this year.

It is known that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will receive the new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 mobile platform, as well as the new Rage Engine 2.0, which is responsible for improving performance in games.

Lu Weibing said that the technical specifications of the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 platform were jointly determined by Redmi and Qualcomm. According to him, this single-chip system was born out of several rounds of in-depth discussion between the Redmi and Qualcomm team.
