On March 21, Oppo will hold a launch event in China to promote the new devices. It has been confirmed that the Oppo Find X6 series flagship smartphones will be launched at the event along with the Oppo Pad 2. The new flagship smartphones will feature eye-catching designs alongside the latest chipsets and advanced camera hardware.
Starting with the design, Oppo Find X6 and X6 Pro will have a similar design. Both devices have a curved back with curved edges. Both smartphones have a large circular camera island that houses a triple camera, an LED flash and some sensors.
Find X6 has a large 6.74-inch screen and a resolution of 2772×1240 pixels. It has an adaptive refresh rate of 40-120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1400 nits. Meanwhile, the Pro version features a larger 6.82-inch display with a higher resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels and an impressive native peak brightness of 2500 nits.
Find X6 and Find X6 Pro differ in computing power; the first has a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 processor and the second is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. However, both models are similar in terms of LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 internal storage.
The appearance of both smartphones on Geekbench gives us an idea of ​​their performance. The Find X6 Pro scored 1,494 and 4,973 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests. On the other hand, in Geekbench 5, the Find X6 scored 1,806 for single-core performance and 4,705 for multi-core performance.
The latest Android 13 operating system customized with OPPO ColorOS interface runs on these smartphones. The Find X6 has a 4,800mAh battery with 80W fast charging, while the Pro version has a 5,000mAh battery and is capable of 100W super fast charging.
On the front, users can expect a triple rear camera paired with a 32-megapixel front camera perfect for selfies and video calls. The professional version of these smartphones will have a 50-megapixel 1-inch Sony IMX988 matrix main camera, as well as two 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 cameras for ultra-wide and periscopic zoom shots. Meanwhile, the standard version is expected to have three 50MP cameras on the back, including Sony IMX890, Samsung JN1 and another Sony IMX890 sensor. Additionally, both models are expected to feature Hasselblad camera optimizations and MariSilicon X2 ISP.
A recent leak revealed that the Find X6 Pro will be offered in three different variants; these include the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage priced at RMB 6,499 (~$947) and the 16GB + 256GB variant priced at RMB 6,799 (~$6,799 yuan). $990) and the top model with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage is priced at 6,999 yuan (~$1,020). On the other hand, Oppo Find X6 will be available in two different configurations. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model will cost 4,699 yuan (~$684), while the 16GB+512GB variant will cost 5,199 yuan (~$757).
