The Meizu 20 Pro will debut in China later this month as the brand’s newest flagship. This highly anticipated release marks Meizu’s return to the smartphone market after a period of relative silence. It has been the subject of numerous sources recently that the new phone will have a Galaxy 23-like camera module and be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. On the eve of the official launch, an image showing the design of the front was leaked online.
Meizu itself has posted various images of the Meizu 20, but these mostly focus on the rear panel. However, this new image shared by Chinese informant @美南闲话站 gives us a good look at the front of the professional phone. It appears to have a flat screen with thin bezels around it, but the source claims that actual devices will have comparatively thicker bezels. There is a hole in the middle of the phone for the selfie camera.
The Meizu 20 Pro will be released on March 30 along with the vanilla Meizu 20. According to the information previously shared by company officials, the Meizu 20 series will have a flat screen with 3.0 suspension distribution and a narrow frame of only 1.57 mm. . It will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip equipped with 13 high-energy gaming-grade antennas and with a total heat dissipation area of 36,242 mm², 56% more than its predecessor.
In addition, the Meizu 20 series also introduces the next-generation Flyme 10 ecosystem, which comes with complete anti-fraud technology. The Pro model will reportedly have a 5,000mAh battery with support for 50W wireless charging and 80W wired charging.
